How to Maintain Your SecureView Security Screen Doors

Your SecureView SaltWater Series screen doors are built for durability, especially in coastal areas like the Sunshine Coast—but like anything exposed to the elements, a little care goes a long way.

Keep Your Screens Looking & Working Their Best

To maintain both appearance and performance, we recommend a simple routine:

  • Clean the mesh and frame every 3–6 months using a soft cloth or sponge and a mild detergent mixed with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water and wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent watermarks or build-up.

Check the Details

  • Inspect locks, latches, and hinges regularly. Make sure they’re operating smoothly and haven’t loosened over time.
  • Lubricate moving parts with a silicone-based spray to prevent sticking and rust—especially in high-humidity or salt-exposed areas.

Your SecureView screen is designed to resist corrosion, but a quick clean and check now and then ensures it keeps performing—and looking—like new for years.

Need a Service?

If your screen isn’t gliding smoothly or your lock feels a bit off, we can help with servicing and adjustments.
